Your Role: Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative and clerical support to attorneys and paralegals
  • Draft, proofread, and format legal correspondence and basic documents
  • File and serve legal documents, including e-filing with California courts
  • Maintain and organize case files, both physical and electronic
  • Manage attorney calendars, schedule hearings, and track deadlines
  • Communicate professionally with clients, courts, and internal staff
  • Prepare and process outgoing mail, scanning, copying, and data entry
  • Assist with discovery preparation and document production
  • Support high-volume caseloads while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
  • Follow established procedures consistently and effectively
  • Use Microsoft Office and law office software proficiently

Qualifications
  • 1 or more years of legal assistant or administrative legal experience preferred
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with New Mexico court systems and e-filing is a plus
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multitask
  • Must be dependable, punctual, and detail-oriented
  • Must be 18 years or older

Requirement
  • Must pass a background and drug test
