Lead - AMD APU / Display & Android OS (iRDK)Location Palo Alto, CA

Drive AMD APU bringup for the iRDK platform, focusing on AMD x86 architecture enablement, Display subsystem bring-up, and Android OS stack integration in partnership with AMD.

Responsibilities

●      Bring up AMD x86 APU on iRDK custom board from EVK reference design

●      Enable Display subsystem: GPU driver integration, HDMI/DP output, display controller validation

●      Port and stabilize Android OS (AOSP) on the AMD APU platform

●      Collaborate directly with AMD on platform enablement and driver support

●      Validate APU performance, GPU benchmarks, and thermal characteristics

●      Support Ok2Book proof-of-concept milestone delivery and documentation

Qualifications

●      Bachelor''s or Master''s degree in Computer Science/Engineering or related field

●      10+ years'' experience in Embedded Software Development

●      Hands-on AMD x86 SoC or APU bringup experience

●      Display subsystem expertise: GPU drivers, display controllers, HDMI/DP or MIPI DSI

●      Android platform bringup: AOSP porting, HAL development, BSP

●      Linux kernel, boot sequence, and driver development

●      C/C++, Python/Rust; hardware debug tools (JTAG, Lauterbach)

Preferred Skills:

●      Automotive infotainment or cockpit domain experience

●      AMD ROCm or GPU compute stack familiarity

●      Experience with Versal or AMD embedded SoC portfolio

●      Hypervisor-based systems (ACRN, Xen, or equivalent)
