Job description

Workplace: On-site, In-Office, 5 days per week
Location: Palo Alto, CA

Lead role to drive our infotainment dev kit platform bring up on the Mediatek C-X1 platform. You will own the technical effort from EVK to custom board and serve as the primary interface with Mediatek.

Responsibilities 
    Lead end-to-end infotainment dev kit platform bring up on Mediatek C-X1 from EVK reference to our custom board
    Own SW stack bring-up: bootloader, kernel, BSP, and middleware integration
    Serve as primary technical interface with Mediatek for platform enablement and escalations
    Drive platform characterization: performance, stability, and thermal profiling
    Provide weekly status, risk, and decision documentation to program leadership
    Collaborate with architecture , hardware, and software teams on bring-up strategy

Required Qualifications 
    Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science/Engineering or related field
    10+ years' embedded SW experience; 5+ years in a staff or lead role
    Direct hands-on experience with Mediatek SoC platforms (C-X1, MT8xxx series, or equivalent)
    Proven track record leading ECU/SoC bring up programs end-to-end
    Strong BSP and kernel bring-up expertise (Linux, U-Boot or equivalent bootloader)
    C/C++, Python/Rust; hardware debug tools (Lauterbach, JTAG, oscilloscope)
    Excellent cross-team communication; experience working directly with SoC vendors

Preferred Qualifications 
    Automotive-grade SoC bring up experience
    Familiarity with Mediatek SDK and toolchain
    ISO 26262 functional safety awareness
    Experience with hypervisor-based platforms

Salary Range
    $140,000 - 160,000
