Job Purpose:
- The Laundry Aide at Edmonds Post Acute is responsible for ensuring that all laundry operations are conducted efficiently and effectively to maintain a clean and hygienic environment. The role is crucial in supporting the overall patient care experience by providing fresh linens and garments for patients and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute linens and garments according to established procedures and schedules.
- Operate and maintain laundry equipment, ensuring all machines are in good working condition and reporting any malfunctions to the supervisor.
- Adhere to infection control protocols and safety guidelines to prevent contamination and ensure a safe working environment.
