Job description

Job Purpose:
- The Registered Nurse at KALESTA HEALTHCARE GROUP is responsible for providing high-quality patient care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for patients in accordance with established standards and practices. The role requires a compassionate and dedicated professional committed to improving patient outcomes and enhancing the overall healthcare experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to identify healthcare needs and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring accuracy and adherence to protocols.
- Monitor and report changes in patients' conditions to physicians and other healthcare professionals.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated and effective patient care.
- Educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatment plans, and preventive measures.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
- Provide emotional support to patients and their families, fostering a caring and empathetic environment.
- Stay updated with current nursing practices and healthcare advancements through ongoing professional development.

Required Education:
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of employment.
Required Experience:
- Experience in patient care management and coordination.
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems and documentation.
Required Skills and Abilities:
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for patient and family interactions.
