Job description

The Laundry Operator will be responsible for completing the laundry process for all linen processed on property at the company. This will include operating equipment to wash, dry, iron, press, and fold all items. The Laundry Operator is responsible for sorting soiled and clean linen, preparing the items for the tunnel washer, loading and unloading the dryers, processing the linen through the ironer and folding clean linen, either by hand or through an automated towel folder.
Responsibilities:
- Operate all equipment in the laundry, including but not limited to the tunnel washer, ironer, presser, and towel folders.
- Sort soiled and clean linen, and prepares items for the tunnel washer.
- Load and unload the dryers.
- Process the linen through the ironer.
- Fold clean linen, either by hand or through an automated towel folder.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in laundry operations preferred.
- Ability to operate laundry equipment, including the tunnel washer, ironer, presser, and towel folders.
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 100 pounds.
