Job description

The Laundry Machine Operator sets the pace for production throughout the entire laundry facility. The LMO ensures that all goods coming to the Facility, are expertly and expeditiously processed. The equipment operated by the LMO's includes three large capacity industrial washer extractors and three matching gas fired dryers and four smaller industrial washers and dryers. This employee must demonstrate flexibility and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Qualifications:YOU WILL BE RATED ON THE FOLLOWING KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES (KSAs) FOR THIS POSITION:
1. Ability to load and unload commercial washers and dryers with a capacity of up to 500 pounds. Experience using commercial washers and dryers is preferred.
2. Knowledge of the effects of water temperature and chemicals that will be used in the washing process on the various fabrics that are processed through the laundry.
3. Experience reading and following oral and written instructions.
4. Ability to monitor performance of laundry machines, report issues, and maintain records.Education:Employment Type: OTHER
