Key Accountabilities:

  • Oversee the launch of new products or processes in manufacturing and warehousing, ensuring timelines and objectives are met.
  • Enforce safety protocols and ensure a safe working environment for all employees, conduction regular safety audits and training.
  • Conduct training sessions for staff on new equipment, processes, and safety protocols to ensure compliance and efficiency.
  • Meet all production and distribution objectives and deadlines within the established budget.
  • Maintain a working list of current projects and statuses. Responsible for effective record keeping, filing and other administrative duties as required.
  • Warehouse experience with forklift, packaging and measuring.
  • Demonstrates the ability to understand equipment and tolerances from experience and successful past performance.
  • Knowledge of 6S, good housekeeping and safety standards a plus.
  • Understanding building layouts and being able to implement floor striping and signage based of a CAD design / layout.
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to develop and refine manufacturing processes, ensuring optimal workflow and productivity.
  • Maintain timely, effective and professional communications with all internal and external customers, contractors and suppliers.4
  • Prepare and present reports on launch progress, challenges, and outcomes to management, offering insights for future projects.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Demonstrates the ability to understand equipment and tolerances from past experience and successful past performance.
  • Warehouse experience with forklift, packing and measuring.
  • This individual must also demonstrate successful leadership and team building skills - even if from an unrelated business or non-business organization.
  • Ability to travel up to 75%.

Preferred Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 2-3 years previous supervisory experience in a related field.
  • Possess the knowledge of metals handled in regard to proper staging, processing, packaging, and shipping
  • First aid and CPR training
  • Exposure to labor relations, safety programs, ISO standards, lean practices and sale functions.
