Job description

Printer Technician

Title: Printer Technician

Pay Rate: $21-$23/HR

Location: Cuero TX 77954

Responsibilities:

IT field technician - driving to client sites and providing general IT support to customers (retailers, banks, etc.), for break-fix and IMAC calls, and supporting clients, the level of support will vary by customer, but expect printer, laptop, server, network, and other IT devices.

TOP 2? HW repair hands-on (printers, PCs, POS, etc.) break-fix, use of power tools (e.g. drills) and familiar with the ticketing system. Fast-paced environment, need problem-solving skills and be able to maintain composure under pressure.

Key skill is Printer Breakfix

Schedule:

Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM with a 1-hour lunch break. However, work may occasionally follow the project schedule, which could include overtime or after-hours as needed.

OC (on call)? Yes, after completing all required Certs and training

Experience and Certifications:

Years of experience - preferred 2-5 but we will train

Certifications or education? A+ certification is good to have but not necessary, Lexmark certifications and experience are preferred but not necessary. Experience with Lexmark printer break-fix and equipment installs a plus, Client Dell Lenovo also desired but not necessary

Travel Requirements:

This is a 9-month project, at times they will travel locally to client sites within driving distance and be home each night. At other times they will fly to other locations within their region. When they are flying, they will be travelling overnight from Sunday to Thursday and won't be home until the end of the week. The working days will still be Monday to Friday, even though in some cases the candidate will be traveling overnight starting Sunday. Friday would be a meeting (remote) with their team lead once they are back home. OT may be required. Requires a valid state driver's license (Real ID compliant), clean MVR, and a reliable vehicle
