Job Title: Laser Helper - $19

Job Description

The Laser Helper will assist the operator in loading material and performing operations, preventative maintenance, and troubleshooting on CNC machines.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the operator in loading materials for CNC Trumpf Laser operations.
  • Perform preventative maintenance and troubleshooting on equipment as needed.
  • Understand and operate laser technology and sheet metal machinery.
  • Utilize micrometers, calipers, multimeters, and encoders for precise measurements.
  • Conduct machine setup for efficient operations.

Essential Skills

  • Experience with CNC machines and laser operations.
  • Understanding of electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Familiarity with micrometers, calipers, multimeters, and encoders.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Training will be required for the first 2-3 weeks on the job.
  • Ability to perform preventative maintenance and troubleshooting.

Work Environment

2nd shift from 4 p.m. to 2:30 a.m. with flexibility in hours based on production needs. During slow periods, 4pm - 12 midnight is customary.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of CHATTANOOGA, TN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr.
