What You'll Be Doing:

You'll support our clinical team and physicians in delivering excellent patient care through hands-on procedures, documentation, and patient education.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Rooming patients and preparing them for exams
  • Assisting with in-office procedures and setting up instruments
  • Managing control logs and ensuring compliance documentation
  • Performing wound checks, suture/staple removal, and educating patients on wound care
  • Specimen collection and handling (venipuncture, urinalysis, prostate tissue)
  • Administering injections (Lupron, Depo-Provera, Testosterone, Collagen testing)
  • Catheter insertions/removals, voiding trials, bladder instillations, and teaching self-catheterization
  • Conducting impotence testing (Doppler, Biothesiometry)
  • Reviewing lab results and communicating with patients
  • Preparing charts and handling patient calls
  • Performing general clerical duties (scanning, faxing, emails, record keeping)

What We're Looking For:

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) preferred
  • Ability to multitask, remain calm under pressure, and work efficiently in a fast-paced setting
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Familiarity with clinical and clerical functions in a medical setting

Work Environment & Physical Requirements:

This role involves standing and walking for extended periods, occasional lifting, and regular patient contact. Manual dexterity and comfort working on computers are essential. You should be prepared to work in a busy clinic and maintain professionalism at all times.
