Job description

Outlook Group is looking for a highly skilled Narrow Web Flexo Printing Press Operator to join our team as a Utility Operator and help us run the quality labels we are known for. This person will set up and run multiple Narrow Web Flexo Mark Andy (4150's) and MPS Presses. Outlook Group prints pressure-sensitive labels, peel and reseal labels and variable data labels.
You will be working with custom product packaging and printing labels, shrink sleeves, flexible packaging, and fulfillment in several industries such as food and beverage, personal care, and consumer healthcare.
We are currently hiring for 2nd shift:
  • 2nd shift: Monday - Friday 2pm-10pm

Responsibilities
  • Regularly clean press parts to maintain optimal performance
  • Provide coverage during breaks to ensure continuous workflow and minimize downtime
  • Support the make-ready process by preparing necessary materials and equipment
  • Assist the press with various finishing tasks to ensure completed jobs meet quality standards

Additional responsibilities may include:
  • Set up Flexo press by loading substrates and tooling for die-cutting operations
  • Monitor and adjust ink color, viscosity, web tension, and press speed to maintain consistent print quality throughout production runs
  • Troubleshoot and resolve print issues to minimize downtime and material waste
  • Maintain accurate production records, including material usage and job times
  • Follow all safety standards and keep the work area clean and organized

Qualified applicants will have:
  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience operating a Narrow Web Flexographic Press
  • Experience operating a Mark Andy machine is a bonus
  • Pay depends on experience level
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Good communication and mathematical skills
  • Be reliable with a great work ethic
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
