We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our dynamic team at Lara Health Care Center. This full-time position, primarily performed through telehealth, offers a unique opportunity to provide high-quality mental health services while enjoying the flexibility of remote work. This position is uniquely designed for remote work, enabling counselors to provide services through telehealth. Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, our counselors connect with clients via virtual platforms that support therapeutic environments, ensuring privacy and continuity of care. While we maintain structured hours, we also recognize the need for flexibility based on patient requirements, promoting responsiveness to individual care needs.

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments using standardized tools to evaluate the needs and preferences of patients, creating tailored treatment plans.
• Provide individual, couples, and family therapy utilizing various evidence-based practices including, but not limited to, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Therapy.
• Organize and facilitate psychoeducational and support groups to foster community and address issues such as anxiety, depression, and substance use.
• Collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary team of psychiatrists, psychologists, and social workers to align treatment approaches and foster a holistic care model.
• Deliver crisis intervention and support services during mental health emergencies, ensuring immediate and effective responses to client needs.
• Educate clients about mental health conditions, treatment options, and local resources, empowering them to make informed decisions about their care.
• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation adhering to legal standards and ethical practices, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems proficiently.
• Engage in regular case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development to enhance personal and team skills in the rapidly evolving mental health landscape.
• Stay abreast of the latest research and advancements in the mental health field, integrating insights into practice as appropriate.

At Lara Health Care Center, you will work with a diverse population presenting a wide array of mental health challenges including depression, anxiety disorders, bipolar disorder, and substance use issues. • A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid licensure as an LICSW, LMHC, or LMFT within the state of Washington.
• A robust understanding of mental health diagnoses, treatment modalities, and therapeutic frameworks.
• Demonstrated ability to perform comprehensive assessments and develop clinically effective treatment strategies.
• Experience providing therapy to individuals and groups from varying backgrounds and demographics.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities, with a focus on empathy and active listening.
• Strong ethical standards and professional judgment, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to boundaries.
• Competence with electronic health record (EHR) systems and corresponding technologies.
• The ability and willingness to collaborate in a multidisciplinary healthcare team setting.

• Experience with telehealth platforms and familiarity with virtual therapeutic interventions.
• Background in conducting group therapy and psychoeducational sessions.
• Prior involvement in crisis intervention and management, providing immediate assistance during emergencies.
• Knowledge of integrated care approaches and familiarity with resources available in the Kirkland area.

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 115,000 to 130,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to salary, we provide a comprehensive healthcare benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, as well as a retirement savings plan with employer contributions.
