Location: Binghamton, NY

Job Type: Full-Time or Part-Time

Schedule: Day Shifts Only - No Evenings or Weekends

Setting: Outpatient Clinical Setting

Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Optometrist-either full-time or part-time-to join our growing team. You will step into an established patient base with steady volume and the full support of our experienced clinical and administrative staff.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and manage ocular diseases and visual disorders

  • Provide routine vision care, including pediatric exams and contact lens fittings

  • Prescribe corrective lenses and develop personalized treatment plans

  • Educate patients on preventive eye care and visual hygiene

  • Maintain accurate and compliant documentation using EMR/EHR systems

  • Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care

Education, Licensure, and Experience:

  • Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited program

  • Active and unrestricted New York State Optometry license

  • Strong diagnostic, clinical, and patient-centered care skills

  • Proficiency in EMR/EHR systems and knowledge of HIPAA regulations

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Experience in pediatric optometry or ophthalmology is a plus
