Job description

Join Lara Insurance Agency, a locally focused insurance agency based in Torrance, California, known for its commitment to client satisfaction and community support. We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Administrative Assistant t to join our in-office team. You will play a crucial role in supporting our commercial insurance team, ensuring smooth operations, and delivering exceptional customer service. Your base salary will range from $40,000 - $60,000with bonus opportunities on top.

Part time will ideally be 20 - 30 hours per week, preferably mornings.

Responsibilities
  • Administrative Support: Assist the Commercial Insurance team with clerical tasks such as filing, scheduling appointments, and managing correspondence.
  • Client Interaction: Engage with clients over phone and email, providing assistance and directing inquiries to the appropriate team members.
  • Documentation Management: Prepare and organize insurance documentation, ensuring accuracy and completeness for new and existing policies.
  • Data Entry: Input client information and insurance details into the system, maintaining up-to-date records.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify areas where administrative processes can be enhanced for efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirements
  • Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is required; an associate's or bachelor's degree in business or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience: Previous experience in insurance sales or customer service is beneficial.
