Job Summary
Newmark Occupier Solutions (OS) is the premier operations and real estate consulting platform for companies seeking an integrated methodology to achieve their business objectives. Newmark OS combines the capabilities of a management and operations consulting firm with real estate advisory and corporate real estate delivery services, implementing recommendations through a centralized and scalable approach.
We are seeking a Solutions Director to support major real estate advisory solutions and brokerage pursuits by developing strategic, client-focused occupier solutions across Newmark's service platform. This role will be within the Client Solutions Organization as part of are Solutions Team directly supporting VP of Sales & Solutions and partnering closely with market leaders, producers, subject matter experts, and pursuit teams to shape compelling, integrated solutions for complex occupier assignments. The ideal candidate will bring a strong understanding of occupier services, proposal strategy, cross-functional collaboration, and enterprise pursuit support, while helping enhance Newmark's ability to win and expand high-value client relationships.
Responsibilities
  • Develop strategic, tailored occupier solutions in support of assigned pursuits, aligning service offerings with client business objectives, portfolio needs, and competitive differentiators.
  • Support VP of Sales & Solutions and partner with brokerage leadership, market leaders, and business line stakeholders to identify pursuit priorities and structure integrated solutions across service lines including transaction management, project management, facilities management, workplace strategy, lease administration, and related occupier services.
  • Serve as a key solutions resource during pursuit planning, helping define win themes, solution narratives, staffing approaches, scope alignment, and value propositions for target accounts and high-profile opportunities.
  • Support the development of proposal content and other pursuit materials, including RFP responses, presentations, executive summaries, and solution architecture that clearly articulates Newmark's capabilities and client outcomes.
  • Collaborate with internal partners to gather operational, technical, and commercial inputs necessary to build cohesive and executable solutions for occupier clients.
  • Translate client requirements, pursuit strategy, and market intelligence into clear, differentiated solution frameworks that support both local and multi-market assignments.
  • Participate in client strategy sessions, pursuit meetings, and internal reviews to refine solution concepts and ensure alignment among brokerage, operations, and support teams.
  • Maintain awareness of market trends, occupier priorities, competitor positioning, and emerging service needs to strengthen Newmark's pursuit strategy and solution design.
  • May perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Real Estate, Finance, Economics, Marketing, or a related field; advanced degree a plus.
  • 8-12 years of experience in commercial real estate, occupier solutions, business development, consulting, proposal strategy, or a related client-facing solutions role.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting complex pursuits, developing multi-service solutions, and working across brokerage and corporate services environments.
  • Strong understanding of occupier solutions services and the ability to connect client needs with practical, scalable delivery models.
  • Proven ability to influence and collaborate across matrixed teams, including brokerage professionals, operations leaders, and functional subject matter experts.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to distill complex ideas into clear, compelling proposal language and presentation materials.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple concurrent pursuits and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to structure solutions around client objectives, risks, and competitive dynamics.
  • High level of executive presence, professionalism, discretion, and sound judgment.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
  • Ability to travel as needed in support of team collaboration, pursuit activity, and client presentations.
  • Experience using AI-enabled research, writing, and productivity tools such as Claude, Perplexity, and similar platforms to improve proposal development, synthesize complex information, and accelerate pursuit support workflows.
  • Ability to leverage AI tools responsibly to draft content, structure solution narratives, analyze inputs, and enhance the quality and speed of proposal and presentation development.
