Landscaping Maintenance Laborer

Location: Ludlow, VT

About the Role

We are a growing company, currently seeking hard-working, dependable workers to join our team. Landscaping laborers are critical members of our team, ensuring our customers’ vision for beautiful landscape design comes to life. If you love working in a team environment and are passionate about landscape design and maintenance, this challenging position is right for you!

Responsibilities
  • Trim and edge around sidewalks, flower beds, and walls

  • Plant flowers, shrubs, trees, and grass

  • Apply pesticides, herbicides, and fertilizers

  • Trim/prune trees and shrubs

  • Clean lawn debris with rakes, shovels, and blowers

  • Install new landscaping materials

  • Keep trucks and equipment clean and in working order

  • Contribute to our safety culture by wearing assigned Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

  • Interact with homeowners, property guests, clients, and the public in a friendly and polite manner

Requirements
  • Able to operate standard landscaping machinery such as riding mowers, trimmers, and blowers

  • Maintain a regular, dependable attendance record

  • Availability to work variable hours which may include weekends, holidays and overtime

  • Ability to perform physical work in various weather conditions

  • Legal authorization to work in the United States

  • Reliable transportation to the branch

  • Valid driver's license with a 5 year clean record

  • Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds & walk long distances
