Job description

Residential Landscape is looking for a Landscape Maintenance Technician who takes pride in keeping a property looking cared for throughout the season. We're looking for someone who notices when a sprinkler head isn't working correctly, a plant is struggling, or a section of a property needs attention without waiting for a homeowner to point it out.


This is an outdoor, hands-on position working at residential properties throughout the Denver area. The work changes with the properties and the seasons, so being dependable and knowing how to manage your day matters.


What You'll Handle


  • Maintain lawns, planting beds, shrubs, trees, and other landscaped areas at residential properties.
  • Mow, edge, trim, prune, weed, mulch, and perform seasonal property cleanup.
  • Check irrigation and sprinkler systems while on-site and report leaks, damaged heads, or coverage problems.
  • Recognize unhealthy plants, drainage problems, damaged landscape materials, and other conditions that need attention.
  • Replace plants and make minor landscape repairs when needed.
  • Keep walkways, patios, planting areas, and other outdoor spaces clean and presentable.
  • Prepare properties for seasonal changes, including spring cleanup and fall maintenance.
  • Use mowers, trimmers, blowers, hand tools, and other landscape equipment safely.
  • Keep equipment clean and report anything that needs repair or replacement.
  • Communicate completed work and larger property concerns to the crew leader or project manager.


What We're Looking For


  • Previous landscaping, grounds maintenance, horticulture, or similar outdoor work experience is preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of plants, lawn care, pruning, and landscape maintenance.
  • Comfortable using common landscaping tools and equipment.
  • Able to perform physical work outdoors in changing Colorado weather.
  • Valid driver's license and dependable transportation are preferred.
  • Someone who can work independently without needing every task pointed out.
  • Experience with irrigation systems or Colorado plant material is a plus.
  • Dependable attendance and respect for customers' homes and property.
