JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible for the maintenance of commercial landscapes.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience

  • Commercial landscape experience preferred, but not required

License or Certification
  • Valid Driver's License issued from state of employment, preferred but not required.

Specialized Skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with Foreman and team members
  • Bi-lingual English/Spanish preferred but not required
  • Strong commitment to high quality of work and customer service
  • Ability to complete tasks assigned in a timely manner
  • Apply common sense understanding to carry out tasks
  • Deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables

ESSENTIAL DUTIES
  1. Ensure Maintain job site as instructed by Foreman. Possible duties include, but are not limited to mowing, raking, weeding, shearing, edging, and hand pruning
  2. Safe operation of equipment, including : 21" and 36" mowers; power hedge shears; power shears; backpack blower; aerator
  3. Basic understanding of Plant ID
  4. Basic hand pruning skills
  5. Basic skill in shearing shrubs and hedges
  6. Operate all vehicles and equipment in accordance's with Monarch Safety Policy
  7. Abide by Monarch code of conduct at all times
  8. Shows up to work each day on time; completes all tasks within time expectations; adheres to company dress code policy; wears clean clothes to work each day; follows inclement weather policy and sick leave reporting procedures
  9. All other duties as assigned.
