Job description


We are seeking an experienced Landscape Foreman/Supervisor to lead landscape installation and maintenance crews while ensuring high-quality workmanship, safety, and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have a strong landscaping background, proven leadership skills, and a solid working knowledge of horticulture, including plant identification, proper planting techniques, pruning practices, and plant health care.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate dailyactivities of landscape maintenance and installation crews.
  • Plan, assign, and monitor work toensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and according tospecifications.
  • Train, mentor, and evaluate crewmembers on landscaping techniques, equipment operation, and safetyprocedures.
  • Oversee landscape installations,including planting, grading, sod installation, mulching, irrigation, andhardscape projects.
  • Apply horticultural knowledge toensure proper plant selection, installation, maintenance, and long-termhealth.
  • Identify trees, shrubs, perennials,annuals, turfgrass, and common landscape pests and diseases.
  • Monitor plant health and recommendcorrective actions related to irrigation, fertilization, pruning, and pestmanagement.
  • Conduct site inspections to maintainquality standards and address any issues promptly.
  • Communicate effectively withclients, project managers, and company leadership regarding projectprogress and customer concerns.
  • Ensure all equipment, tools, andvehicles are properly maintained and operated safely.
  • Maintain accurate records of labor,materials, equipment usage, and project completion.
