Operations Manager โ€“ Commercial Landscapeย 

Lead Operations. Build Teams. Drive Performance.

Weโ€™re looking for an Operations Managerย to manage the production for $3 million in revenue, supervise and guide 8-12 crews and has the knowledge and experience to deliver high quality commercial landscape maintenance services.

What Youโ€™ll Own

As Operations Manager, you will leadย production, quality control, and asset management for the Maintenance division.

Operations & Field Leadership

  • Build and execute daily, weekly, and seasonal production plans

  • Lead and optimize crews, routing, and job execution

  • Ensure top-tier quality and client satisfaction across all accounts

  • Right-size labor and resources to maximize efficiencies

Snow Operations

  • Develop and execute snow response plans

  • Manage staffing, equipment readiness, and cost control during events

  • Be a key leader forย winter operations

Team Leadership & Development

  • Lead, coach, and develop field teams and supervisors

  • Partner with HR on recruiting, hiring, and onboarding

  • Deliver ongoing training focused on safety, quality, and productivity

  • Create a positiveย employee experience from day one

Asset & Equipment Management

  • Oversee fleet, equipment, and asset readiness

  • Partner with mechanics and vendors to ensure uptime and safety compliance

  • Maintain high standards for appearance and condition of all assets

Financial & Strategic Impact

  • Drive operational performance aligned with branch profitability goals

  • Review labor hours, production rates, and job costing

  • Partner with the Branch Manager on short- and long-term strategy

  • Continuously improve systems, processes, and tools

Safety & Compliance

  • Lead a safety-first culture across all operations

  • Manage incidents, reporting, and corrective actions

  • Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards

What Weโ€™re Looking For

  • 3+ years of management experience in commercial landscape maintenance & snow

  • Strong background in operations, production planning, and crew leadership

  • Proven ability to lead teams, improve efficiency, and drive results

  • Solid understanding of job costing, labor planning, and profitability

  • Experience with systems like Aspire, Paylocity, GPS tracking, or similar

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred

  • Valid driverโ€™s license + ability to meet DOT requirements
