Mosquito Control Technician (Seasonal Holiday Lighting Opportunities Available!)

Job Summary

Mosquito Hunters Technicians are trained experts who apply mosquito control products to our clients' landscaping, participate in marketing initiatives, and provide a remarkable client experience.

Looking for year-round work? From October through February, many of our technicians also have the opportunity to work with our sister company, Let It Glow Lighting, installing and servicing professional holiday lighting displays.

Responsibilities

  • Represent the company and maintain a high level of customer service
  • Drive to each client's home or business
  • Survey each yard for mosquito habitats and breeding grounds
  • Reduce or apply larvicide to standing water on the property
  • Apply mosquito control products to surrounding foliage using a 60 lb backpack sprayer
  • Make recommendations to each client
  • Assist with marketing efforts such as distributing door hangers or placing yard signs

Seasonal Holiday Lighting (October–February)

  • Install and remove professional holiday lighting
  • Troubleshoot and maintain lighting displays throughout the season
  • Work safely on ladders and around residential and commercial properties
  • Deliver the same outstanding customer experience our clients expect

Qualifications

  • No prior experience required — we provide paid training
  • At least 18 years old
  • Valid driver's license
  • Reliable transportation to and from the office
  • Proof of insurance
  • Ability to carry a 60 lb backpack sprayer
  • Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
  • Energetic, hardworking, and dependable
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Able to work independently and responsibly
  • Willing to obtain a Texas Structural Pest Control Technician License (company assisted)
