We’re currently seeking a dependable Landscape Maintenance Laborer to join our maintenance team and help keep our landscapes looking their best.

Job Summary
As a Landscape Maintenance Laborer, you’ll work under the supervision of the Maintenance Foreman to perform routine landscape maintenance tasks. You’ll help ensure our properties are maintained to the highest standards by providing efficient, safe, and detailed work. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in a job well done, and wants to grow with a respected landscape company.

Responsibilities

  • Load and unload landscape maintenance tools and equipment.

  • Mow, edge, and trim turf areas using power and hand tools.

  • Operate blowers to clear sidewalks, streets, and work areas of debris.

  • Prune, trim, and hedge trees and shrubs for proper shape and health.

  • Plant seasonal color, shrubs, and groundcovers; till soil and apply mulch.

  • Apply fertilizers and soil amendments as directed.

  • Water lawns, seasonal color, shrubs, trees, and groundcovers as needed.

  • Maintain clean, weed-free planting beds and tidy work areas.

  • Inspect and perform basic maintenance on gas-powered equipment.

  • Follow all safety procedures and company policies.

  • Communicate and take direction from the Maintenance Foreman and Account Manager.

  • Attend training and safety meetings; apply learned practices on the job.

  • Represent the company with professionalism and integrity.

  • Work cooperatively as part of a team to complete projects efficiently.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 lbs.

  • Ability to walk, stand, kneel, and bend for extended periods.

  • Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.

  • Reliable, punctual, and motivated with a strong work ethic.

  • Professional appearance and positive attitude.

  • Experience with landscaping or grounds maintenance preferred but not required.

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.

  • Knowledge of safe operation of landscaping hand tools and gas-powered equipment.

  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record (required for company drivers).
