We are seeking a reliable and skilled Landscape Laborer to join our team. The Landscape Laborer will be responsible for performing various landscaping and irrigation tasks using hand and power tools or equipment. This role involves working outdoors to enhance and maintain the appearance of landscapes, including planting, watering, fertilizing, and installing sprinkler systems. The ideal candidate should have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Responsibilities:
  • Utilize hand and power tools or equipment to complete a wide range of landscape and irrigation duties.
  • Lay sod, plant trees, shrubs, and flowers according to design plans and specifications.
  • Water plants, trees, and grass using appropriate irrigation methods to ensure proper hydration.
  • Fertilize plants and apply insecticides as needed to promote healthy growth and prevent pests.
  • Dig, rake, and prepare soil for planting, ensuring proper drainage and a suitable environment for plant growth.
  • Transplant trees, shrubs, and flowers as necessary to optimize the landscape layout.
  • Perform weed control by pulling weeds, applying herbicides, or using other appropriate methods.
