Job description

Direct report position to 403 7th St SE, Washington, D.C.
Job details:
  • Individual will work alongside other crewmen to help with installation of trees, shrubs, hardscapes, and other landscape materials. Individual will be directed by the on-site foreman and be given daily tasks /direction.
  • Individual is expected to have general knowledge and safely operate hand tools while working (rakes, shovels, wheelbarrows, etc.).
  • Ability to communicate effectively with crew members to facilitate efficiency and safety on the job site.
  • Pass a pre-employment drug test.
  • Have transportation to and from the jobsite on a daily basis.
  • Ability to lift up to 80 to 100 lbs. safely.
  • Ability to take direction form the OSHA certified crew leader (foreman) representing Childs Landscape Contractors, Inc.
  • Adhere to schedules outlined by the General Contractor and Childs Landscape.
  • Must be able to speak English and/or Spanish to ensure efficient communication and understanding.
