Production Manager

Salary: $60k-$70k

Location: Seneca

Job Summary
The Production Manager will oversee all aspects of the production process in our Design/Build division. This role is pivotal in ensuring the efficient and effective delivery of services, maintaining high standards of quality, and fostering a positive and productive work environment. The Production Manager will have direct reports, including team leaders and crew members, and will be responsible for their development and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership and Management:

  - Lead, mentor, and develop a team of team leaders and crew members to achieve operational excellence.

  - Conduct regular performance reviews, provide constructive feedback, and implement training programs to enhance team skills.

  - Foster a positive work environment that encourages collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Operational Oversight:

  - Plan, schedule, and oversee daily operations to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to high standards.

  - Monitor and manage resources, including labor, equipment, and materials, to optimize efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

  - Implement and maintain safety protocols and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements. 

  - Work closely with the sales and customer service teams to align production schedules with client expectations.

Quality Control:

  - Conduct regular site visits and inspections to ensure the quality of work meets company standards and client expectations.

  - Address any issues or deficiencies promptly and effectively.

  - Develop and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) to maintain consistency and quality across all projects.- Handle client complaints or concerns professionally and resolve issues in a timely manner.
Budget and Financial Management:

  - Track expenses, analyze financial data, and identify opportunities for cost savings without compromising quality.

  - Report on financial performance and production metrics to senior management.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in horticulture, landscape management, business administration, or a related field preferred.

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in hardscape, Installation, or a related industry, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role.

- Strong knowledge of landscaping techniques, equipment, and best practices.

- Proficiency in project management software and Google Workspace Suite.

- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
