Position Overview:
Ready to take the next step in your landscaping career?
The Budd Group is looking for motivated individuals who are ready to grow into leadership. As a Landscape Crew Leader in Training, you'll continue building your landscaping skills while learning how to lead a crew, maintain high-quality work, and prepare for future advancement opportunities.
This role is ideal for someone with landscaping experience who enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in doing quality work, and is ready to develop the skills needed to become a Crew Leader.
Locations: Charlotte, NC and Greenville (Piedmont), SC
Schedule: Monday-Friday | 7:00 AM-4:00 PM
Pay: $24-$25 per hour
What You'll Do:
  • Assist with daily crew setup by loading equipment and materials
  • Perform mowing, trimming, edging, mulching, planting, and general landscape maintenance
  • Operate landscaping equipment including mowers, trimmers, blowers, and weed eaters
  • Help monitor job site quality and identify landscaping concerns
  • Communicate equipment issues or property damage to the Crew Leader
  • Promote a safe work environment by following all company safety procedures
  • Assist with seasonal work, including snow removal when applicable
  • Learn leadership responsibilities while supporting the Crew Leader in daily operations

  • At least 1 year of professional landscaping experience
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Strong work ethic and positive attitude
  • Interest in growing into a leadership role
  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
