Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Commercial Landscape Construction Estimator to join our team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in the success of our projects by analyzing plans and specifications to provide accurate cost estimates for commercial landscaping projects. This position requires a strong understanding of landscape construction principles, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate with different departments to ensure project success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze project plans, specifications, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates.
  • Visit project sites to assess existing conditions and verify specific requirements.
  • Collaborate with clients, subcontractors, and project managers to gather information and clarify project details.
  • Develop comprehensive cost estimates and budgets for commercial landscape construction projects, including materials, labor, and equipment.
  • Update and maintain a detailed database of costs, prices, and suppliers to enhance estimating accuracy.
  • Prepare and present detailed proposals, reports, and contract documents to stakeholders.
  • Track and analyze project performance to identify areas of improvement and ensure cost control measures.
  • Assist in the negotiation and assessment of contracts and bids from suppliers and subcontractors.

Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Landscape Construction Estimator or similar role in the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of commercial landscape construction processes and materials.
- Exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient in estimating software, MS Office Suite, and project management tools.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong understanding of project management principles.
- Degree in Construction Management, Landscape Architecture, or a related field is preferred.
