What you will need: Bachelor's degree in landscape architecture from an accredited four-year college or university. Licensed Landscape Architect with 4-6 years' experience. Strong verbal communication skills. Computer skills in design-based software applications including CAD and GIS. Additional computer skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Project. Strong organizational and technical skills with attention to detail. Ability to handle and delegate multiple tasks. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Ability to work well with, coach, and direct others with different personalities and professional styles. Strong problem-solving skills. Capable of defining the problem, identifying alternative solutions, presenting recommendations. Strong knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations and ability to follow. Knowledgeable in the interpretation and application of the current local and state specifications for Public Works Construction. Ability to plan and deliver effective oral and written presentations. Proven ability to establish and maintain client relationships.

What You'll Do: This role is a key member of our landscape architecture team, responsible for leading and managing complex landscape architecture projects from inception to completion Implement a combination of strong design skills, project management expertise, and the ability to foster client relationships to deliver exceptional results As Landscape Architecture Project Manager, you will be responsible for the leadership, management, and technical execution of the project Prepare fee estimates, proposals, scope of work, schedules, and contracts for projects. This position ensures quality and the ability to meet fast paced deadlines through the design process Express ideas quickly and powerfully utilizing design and software knowledge Develop design documentation through all stages of the project from concept through completion including conceptual development, construction documentation, and construction administrative support Demonstrate a high level of understanding of design and project workflow systems Serve as lead designer / planner on a variety of project scales Filter ideas and direction from Owners, Stakeholders and Engineering team members into design outputs Demonstrate leadership within role by driving project success through exceptional communication and coordination with internal Lamp Rynearson teams as well as with outside project team members including subconsultants, regulatory agencies, vendors and contractors, and the public Develop deep knowledge and understanding of landscape architectural design principles and code requirements Foster mentorship and development of junior staff Perform detailed landscape architecture tasks such as project design, cost estimates, and design calculations. Prepare project management documents and adhere to project scope, schedule, and budget. Prepare and facilitate project team and client meetings. Assist in the development of proposals Prepare and present oral presentations and team interviews Assist marketing to develop and maintain client relationships as a seller-doer role. Independently perform complex assignments requiring development of new techniques and procedures. Coordinate across inter-office teams and direct team members on design tasks. Work closely with other project managers on execution of design work and report overall progress. Supervise, coordinate, and review work for less experienced staff members. Maintain project and client information in the firm's CRM and project management systems. Travel and work in various terrain and weather conditions at project sites.
