Job description

V3 Companies, a multidisciplinary AEC firm, is seeking a Civil Engineering Project Manager in our Indianapolis, IN and/or South Bend, IN office, where you will contribute to career-defining projects that reimagine our built and natural world. Potential candidates can be located anywhere in the state of Indiana or Cincinnati, OH.


You'll change the shape of your community by supporting growth through sustainable urban development, creating impact that lasts. And, as part of our Land Development team, you will collaborate with 450+ designers, engineers, and scientists to make meaningful, effective change across North America.


Here's what you'll do:

  • Lead and manage civil site design projects, ensuring timely and successful completion.
  • Guide and mentor talented project teams focused on creativity and excellence.
  • Develop and manage project plans, budgets, schedules and perform quality reviews.
  • Coordinate with clients, stakeholders, and team members to ensure project requirements are met.
  • Prepare and review design documents, drawings and specifications.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Manage project risks and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to the project team.
  • Monitor project progress and performance, making adjustments as necessary.
  • Lead business development activities to foster and develop relationships with new and existing clients.
  • Collaborate with internal V3 teams on the delivery of multi-disciplinary projects.

We're looking for:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in civil site design and project management.
  • Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles, practices and standards.
  • Excellent leadership, communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
