We are seeking a Systems Administrator to join our team and support the internal software, hardware, and network infrastructure that enables our organization to deliver clinical research services.

As a Systems Administrator, you will analyze and resolve practical issues by applying existing knowledge and sound judgment. You will administer network servers and technology tools, install and configure hardware and software, support system upgrades, and troubleshoot issues and outages. You will also monitor system performance, maintain internal infrastructure, and ensure security through access controls, backups, and firewalls.

You Will Also


  • Create and maintain a repository of technical documentation, manuals, and procedures.
  • Monitor the inventory of IT equipment and supplies to ensure organizational needs. Manage IT assets and ensure proper lifecycle management.
  • Set up accounts and workstations.
  • Maintain and support IT managed digital services.
  • Frequent contact with external vendors, contractors and service providers.


Qualifications


  • Relevant Master or Bachelor's degree (e.g. Information Technology, Computer Science or a related discipline) or equivalent working proficiency through documented experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of proven experience as a System Administrator, Network Administrator or similar role.
  • Experience with managing Office 365 and Microsoft Azure environments.
  • Experience with databases, networks (LAN,WAN) and patch management
  • Familiarity with various operating systems and platforms.
  • Fluent in English (verbal and writing).
  • Knowledge of system security (e.g. intrusion detection systems) and data backup/recovery
