Job description

We are seeking a qualified LAN Manager to support a U.S. government program overseas. The LAN Manager will be responsible for managing and administering the site's network servers and peripherals, overseeing network architecture, and working with protocols and technologies such as TCP/IP, MPLS, BGP, NTP, and RADIUS, as well as other data communications systems.

What You'll Do: • Operate and maintain all C4I and AT/FP systems and equipment associated with the site's LAN system in support of the mission. • Provide LAN system and application management services to ensure unique computing requirements are met and systems and applications remain available. • Manage and maintain classified and unclassified network enclaves and assist the U.S.

government with tasks associated with systems operations. • Ensure Information Assurance Vulnerability Management (IAVM) compliance. • Serve as the primary network engineering expert with demonstrated experience in Cisco Firepower/Firepower Management Center (FMC) and Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE).

• Lead the IT Department team of five professionals covering Help Desk support, Telecommunications support, ESS administration, and cybersecurity. • Contribute to technical proposal development for contractual modifications and new business. • Implement performance tracking strategies and apply diagnostic tools to address nonconformances.

• Prepare reports summarizing test/audit findings and identify further testing and reporting needs. • Collaborate with management to develop, implement, inspect, and report on compliance and configuration management programs. • Act as First Line of Defense (FLOD) to identify and remediate regulatory, technical, or financial process gaps.

• Define key metrics to track IT Department status and drive continuous improvement. • Maintain departmental documentation, ensuring procedures, manuals, and requirements are upto date. • Perform other duties as required.

What You'll Bring: • Minimum of 5 years of LAN Server/Network experience with current Windows technologies. • U.S. citizenship with a valid U.S.

passport. • Active SSBI U.S. Secret Security Clearance.

• Ability to sit, stand, kneel, walk, crouch, reach, and balance frequently. • Physically fit to bend, stoop, and lift up to 25 lbs. • Willingness to travel up to 10% CONUS/OCONUS.

• Active, safe driving record and valid driver's license without restrictions. • Successful results from pre-employment screenings including federal background check, MVR, and drug screen. • Compliance with company drug and alcohol policy.

• Authorization to work in the U.S. Knowledge and Experience: • In-depth knowledge of network architectures, topologies, and IP protocols. • Proficiency in Microsoft Windows Server (2012R2-2019), MECM, RHEL, VMware ESXi, SAN, VRTX, Solarwinds Orion & Patch Manager, Microsoft NPS, DFS, Event Logs, Powershell, SNMP,DHCP, DNS/BIND, ADDS, GPO.

• Expertise in Cisco ISE, Cisco Firepower Firewalls and IDS/IPS, FMC, Cisco routers/switches. • Familiarity with ESS Suite, Veritas Backup Exec, Dell PowerVault Tapes, SIEM (Splunk), KIWI syslog, Tumbleweed, MS Office, MS Visio, Adobe Suite, ACAS, Active Client software, WSUS, At Hoc, and all DoD-approved security software. • Ability to STIG/apply SRGs to all listed technologies.
