Job description

Bison Group has an excellent opportunity for an experienced Lead LAN/WAN Engineer who will provide expert Design, analysis, research, and operation support to exceptionally complex networking problems and processes.
  • Serving as a leader in the local- and wide-area networking; highly sought by others for advice and guidance.
  • Serving as a technical expert on established and ad-hoc project teams providing technical direction, interpretation, and alternatives on existing and new services to meet both architectural and operational needs.
  • Providing expertise in Information Systems Architecture, Telecommunications Systems Design, Architecture, Implementation, Information Systems Integration, and Communications and Network Systems Management
  • May manage small teams of engineers and related technical staff such as cyber specialists and testers.
  • Providing insight into cutting edge technologies, integrations, and capabilities
  • Consulting with other engineers, team leads, or customer stakeholders on requirements, technical direction.
  • Providing expertise on, deep knowledge of, and hands-on experience with Cisco, Juniper, F5, Aruba, Ruckus, Versa, NOM, NetScout and/or related network components or network monitoring and management tools.
  • Provide deep expertise on BPG, OSPF, Tunnels (GRE, SudeoWire, VPN, L2TP), Spine and Leaf and BGP Peering.

Requirements
