Job Description
Join a growing manufacturing team as a Laminator Operator. In this hands-on production role, you will be responsible for setting up and operating laminating equipment by combining vinyl and liner materials to produce finished rolls according to quality specifications. This position is ideal for detail-oriented individuals who thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and are committed to safety and quality.
Responsibilities
  • Set up laminating machine with master rolls of vinyl and liner materials
  • Load and align vinyl and liner materials for proper lamination
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures while maintaining quality standards
  • Record jobs accurately in the computer system to maintain inventory control
  • Identify poor-quality materials and notify supervisors or Quality Control personnel
  • Report equipment issues and maintenance needs to supervisors or team leads
  • Assist in other departments and complete additional duties as assigned
Qualifications and Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum one year of related manufacturing experience preferred
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and multitask
  • Ability to maintain production standards in a fast-paced environment
  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Basic computer proficiency
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to read and use a tape measure and micrometer
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to stand for 8-hour shifts, including bending and lifting as needed
