Job Summary A Space for Us Counseling, Inc. is seeking a compassionate and motivated Mental Health Therapist to join our growing integrated wellness center. We welcome New Jersey clinicians holding an active LCSW, LPC, LMFT, LSW, LAC, or LAMFT credential. Candidates may be independently licensed or associate-level clinicians who are eligible to practice under appropriate supervision.

The ideal candidate has experience or interest in providing therapy to individuals, couples, and families. We are especially interested in clinicians who value neuroscience-informed, holistic, somatic, relational, culturally responsive, and trauma-informed approaches to mental health care.

In this role, you will diagnose and treat psychological disorders, teach communication skills, assist patients in addressing dysfunctional behaviors, and guide them through crises. If you are an experienced therapist passionate about providing high-quality care and mental health solutions, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities

Perform intake assessments

Provide mental health therapy for individuals, couples, families, and children

Create individualized treatment plans for each client

Use evidence-based treatment methods to facilitate group and individual treatments

Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of patient information and treatment plan

Adhere to all facility and licensing standards

Qualifications

Master's degree in counseling, social work, or similar field

Eligible licenses: LCSW, LPC, LMFT, LSW, LAC, or LAMFT. Supervision will be provided for provisionally licensed therapists.

Previous experience as a mental health therapist preferred, not required

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Highly organized
