Role Description

This is a part-time, one-on-one therapy role for a Licensed Associate Counselor (LAC), Licensed Social Worker (LSW), or Licensed Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (LAMFT). The position is based in Camden, NJ. Responsibilities include providing individual counseling, conducting assessments, creating and implementing treatment plans, and collaborating effectively with clients, families, and healthcare teams to address mental and behavioral health needs. Maintaining accurate documentation and ensuring compliance with ethical and legal standards are also core components of the role.

Qualifications

  • Strong foundation in Social Work and Medical Social Work practices
  • Proficiency in Case Management, including the development and implementation of comprehensive care plans
  • Expertise in Mental Health and Behavioral Health counseling
  • Ability to build trusting, therapeutic relationships with individuals from diverse backgrounds
  • Current and valid licensure as an LAC, LSW, or LAMFT in the state of New Jersey is required
  • Free Supervision towards LPC and LMFT
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and documentation skills
  • Familiarity with trauma-informed care is a plus
