Ladybird Academy is the leader in preschool experience in Central Florida.  We have been voted Orlando's #1 Childcare Center for the last 5 years in a row (2013-2017).  We pride ourselves in providing a premier early education and quality childcare experience for children aged 6 weeks through PreK.

Job Description

Ladybird Academy Rock Springs is our newest location, and is currently seeking early childhood educators and assistants with a passion for influencing the development of children's minds and providing the best childcare experience to families in the Apopka area.  Job duties include but are not limited to:

  • Supervise children at all times maintaining a secure, safe environment for children to learn and play in
  • Prepare and implement lesson plans
  • Complete necessary classroom reports
  • Conduct student and classroom observations
  • Prepare student progress reports 
  • Conduct Parent-Teacher conferences (lead teachers)
  • Adhere to all DCF regulations
  • Change diapers/toilet train children as applicable
  • Comply with presentation requirements set by the comppany
  • Attend ongoing training to keep education and regulation requirements up to date
Qualifications
  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Must obtain DCF 45 hours training
  • Must have or be willing to obtain Child Development Associate credential (lead teachers)
  • Must be a team player with positive attitude with strong verbal communication skills
  • Must be able to clear Local and Federal background checks
