Job description

Are you passionate about technology and problem-solving? CoVantage Credit Union is seeking a Desktop Administrator to join our knowledgeable IS&T team. In this role, you will manage the day-to-day operations, maintenance, and support of the credit union's desktop infrastructure and related systems. You'll work closely with other IS&T teams to ensure desktop environments are secure, reliable, and optimized to support business operations while maintaining compliance with credit union policies and regulatory requirements.
As a CoVantage team member, you'll receive a 401k employer match of up to 200%, a bonus of annual salary up to 4%, a generous employer HSA contribution, and paid time off for community service.
Job Duties:
  • Manage and maintain the credit union's desktop infrastructure, ensuring systems are secure, reliable, and operating efficiently
  • Monitor desktop environments and review system logs to proactively identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues
  • Administer Windows operating systems, including system optimization, version upgrades, security patching, and problem resolution.
  • Design, configure, document, and support physical computer deployments across the organization
  • Create and maintain Windows images and manage software deployment, upgrades, and package management using ManageEngine Endpoint Central
  • Collaborate with other IS&T teams to ensure desktop systems align with business needs and security standards
  • Assist with disaster recovery testing and support the credit union's business continuity efforts through participation in semi-annual Hot Site tests
  • Research, evaluate, and recommend new hardware, software, and technology solutions to improve efficiency and performance
  • Support and promote information security policies, procedures, and security awareness initiatives to ensure compliance with credit union, NCUA, and FFIEC requirements
  • Maintain documentation for desktop systems, configurations, processes, and procedures

Qualifications:
  • Associate's Degree in networking, computer programming, or equivalent relevant work experience
  • Working experience administering Windows desktop operating systems
  • Knowledge of desktop computer and server operating systems.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work in direct, professional contact with a wide variety of people on a daily basis
  • Ability to work independently and accurately under pressure to meet business needs
