Job description

Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious General Laborer / Lot Helper to support daily yard operations. This role involves moving and organizing vehicles, assisting customers, maintaining lot cleanliness, and ensuring accurate documentation. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, team-focused, and able to work safely in a fast-paced outdoor environment.

Must be 24 years or older to be able to be added to our vehicle insurance.
Must have a valid driver's license.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Move, load, and unload vehicles safely using forklifts or other equipment.
  • Assist customers with vehicle access and ensure a professional experience.
  • Process impound paperwork and verify vehicle records.
  • Maintain lot organization and cleanliness.
  • Apply absorbent materials to spills to maintain a safe work environment.
  • Conduct pre- and post-shift inspections of assigned equipment.
  • Identify and report safety hazards; follow all workplace safety standards.
  • Support administrative tasks, including vehicle registration and releases.
 
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Must be at least 24 years old.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 1–2 years of related experience preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license required; forklift certification preferred or must be obtainable within 90 days.
  • Basic math skills; ability to compute rates, ratios, and percentages.
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively; bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.

Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to lift/move up to 50 lbs. frequently.
  • Regular standing, walking, reaching, stooping, kneeling, and handling materials.
  • Work outdoors in various weather conditions year-round.
