Carpentry Assistant / Construction Helper – Role Summary

Required Skills:

  • Ability to read a tape measure accurately
  • Competence with basic hand tools (hammer, screwdrivers, etc.)
  • Ability to operate basic power tools (such as drills) safely
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Previous experience in rough carpentry or finish carpentry is an asset

Daily Responsibilities:

  • Follow instructions from the lead carpenter
  • Pick up, move, and organize materials on site
  • Assist with assembly work (e.g., cabinets and similar structures)
  • Perform basic finishing tasks such as sanding and painting
  • Support general carpentry and construction tasks as needed
