We offer a full range of roadside safety products and onsite traffic services to our customers. POSITION OVERVIEW

We are looking for an entry level Production labourer based in our woodshop. As a vital member of the production team, in this entry level role, you are responsible for high volume cutting and preparing materials for sign production and also manufacturing in-house wood barricades and products.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Cut and prepare wood, metal, and various materials and substrates
  • Assemble and paint various fabricated products such as wood barricades
  • Operation of equipment and tools such as band saws, drills, etc.
  • Assist in quality control of all production
  • Maintain accurate stock and materials records
  • Perform general labour in the production department and other areas
  • Other tasks as needed/required, there are opportunities to cross-train/work within the Sign Shop

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Dependability and reliability
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly (May seek lifting assistance as required)
  • Ability to follow verbal and written plans/specifications
  • Experience with power tools, band saws, drill presses, etc.
  • General working knowledge of computers, spreadsheets, google docs
  • Ability to balance quality, speed, and attention to detail

HOURS OF WORK

The typical work schedule will be Monday through Friday 8:00am – 4:30pm with a 30-minute lunch break. Additional hours and overtime may be required during the busy season.
