Job description

Tunista Operations Support Services LLC
Regular
Primary Function and Essential Duties
  • Perform regular system maintenance, including starting up systems for use in warmer months.
  • Inspecting and repairing sprinkler heads, pipes and other components.
  • Winterizing systems to prevent damage during freezing weather.
  • Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities and completed work orders.
  • Assist with snow removal on all sidewalks, utilizing snow shovels, small equipment with plows; follow with the application of Ice Melt
  • Loads and unloads trucks, and other conveyances.
  • Move supplies and materials to proper location by wheelbarrow or hand trucks.
  • Dig, fill and tamp earth excavations.
  • Level ground using pick, shovel, tamper, and rake.
  • Shovel concrete, soil, and asphalt.
  • Clean culverts and ditches.
  • Cut trees and brush.
  • Cuts vegetation, using walking-type or riding mowers (less than 2000 lbs.).
  • Operates power tools such as lawnmowers, weed eaters, edger's, blowers, drills, air hammers, earth tampers, generators, air compressors, sump pumps, concrete saws, routers, etc.
  • Trim hedges and edge around walks, flowerbeds, and wells, using hedge trimmers, clippers, and edging tools.
  • Prune shrubs and trees to shape and improve growth using shears and other hand tools.
  • Plant grass, flowers, trees, and shrubs.
  • Water lawn and shrubs during dry periods using hose or activating sprinkler systems.
  • Pick up and cart away leaves, paper, or other litter.
  • Spread concrete and asphalt on concrete and paving jobs using the appropriate hand tools for the job.
  • Clean hand tools, machinery and work area.
  • Spread sand and salt on icy roads and walkways.
  • Responsible for timely reporting of accidents, injuries, and hazardous situations.
  • Perform all other work-related duties as assigned.

  • Advanced knowledge of relevant equipment, policies, procedures, and strategies to promote effective local, state, or national security operations for the protection of people, data, property, and institutions.
  • Ability to concentrate on a task over a period of time without being distracted.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to work effectively and cooperatively with all levels of management and staff.
  • Must be trustworthy
  • Effective oral and technical written communication skills to effectively and clearly communicate complex information in high pressure, emergency situations to others.
  • Ability to follow a process.
  • Strong professional customer service skills, including active listening, prompt service and follow-up.
  • Ability to learn and understand corporate policies and procedures and how they relate to Tunista's goals.
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical computations, detect unobvious facts and issues, and exercise resourcefulness in resolving problems.
  • Ability to multi-task.

Required Qualifications
  • Must High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Minimum of 2 years experience preferred
  • Valid Drivers License
  • Ability to pass a drug and background screening
  • Must be able to pass Government background check

Working Environment
  • Work may be performed both indoors and outdoors. Outdoor work is subject to extreme temperatures, noise, inclement weather conditions, and other conditions determined by the nature of the job. Tasks may be performed on uneven, and or inclined surfaces.
