Summary

You will be joining the Process Technology and Engineering Research Group at Solenis. You will be responsible for supporting senior team members with Thermo-hazard analysis, chemical synthesis and sample characterization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Acquire, set up, and operate laboratory equipment required for process development and scale-up activities.

  • Conduct laboratory reactions, including synthesis of water-soluble polymers and related chemical processes.

  • Perform thermal hazard analysis reactions and other safety-related assessments.

  • Learn and apply new analytical techniques and operate laboratory instrumentation.

  • Conduct experiments using specialized equipment such as calorimetry systems, membrane separation systems, and other advanced laboratory tools.

  • Generate experimental data, perform data analysis, and prepare reports for principal investigators.

  • Support laboratory management and organization, with a strong emphasis on safety compliance.

  • Follow established laboratory procedures and protocols when handling hazardous chemicals.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree (B.S.) in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering required.

  • Proven experience following laboratory procedures and executing experiments.

  • Experience with analytical methods and laboratory instrumentation.

  • Experience working with hazardous chemicals and strict adherence to safety protocols.
