Job description

Corteva Agriscience is seeking a GLP Software Administrator to support R&D laboratory systems and applications in a regulated environment. This role will serve as a key partner to researchers, lab staff, IT, and business teams by maintaining system reliability, troubleshooting issues, supporting upgrades and implementations, and ensuring GLP compliance and data integrity. The ideal candidate will bring strong application support experience, knowledge of GLP/GxP requirements, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while supporting critical laboratory operations.

What You’ll Do:

  • Support, maintain, and improve R&D laboratory systems and applications to ensure availability, reliability, and performance for lab users.

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for researchers and laboratory staff, troubleshooting application, system, access, and usage issues.

  • Administer and maintain GLP-compliant software systems in accordance with applicable regulatory requirements.

  • Partner with researchers, lab staff, IT, and business leaders to gather requirements, resolve issues, and support system enhancements.

  • Support application configurations, upgrades, implementations, and system changes within laboratory environments while minimizing disruption to lab operations.

  • Ensure laboratory systems meet the needs of day-to-day R&D activities and remain stable, reliable, and fit for purpose.

  • Implement and maintain data integrity practices and protocols aligned with GLP standards.

  • Assist with software validation, qualification, testing, and documentation activities as required by GLP guidelines.

  • Prepare, maintain, and update documentation related to software administration, including SOPs, user guides, training materials, and support procedures.

  • Provide training and support to laboratory users on application functionality, best practices, and compliance-related processes.

  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with lab users, IT teams, and business stakeholders.

  • Stay current on industry trends, regulatory expectations, and advancements in GLP laboratory software solutions.

What Skills You Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in software administration, application support, or systems support, preferably in a laboratory, R&D, or technical environment.

  • Experience supporting IT applications or systems used in lab, R&D, scientific, or regulated environments.

  • Exposure to regulated environments such as GLP, GxP, or similar compliance frameworks.

  • Strong troubleshooting skills across applications, systems, user access, and user-reported issues.

  • Experience working directly with end users and cross-functional teams to resolve issues and support business needs.

  • Experience supporting application upgrades, system enhancements, configurations, or implementations.

  • Strong problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with software validation and qualification processes in regulated environments.

  • Familiarity with laboratory software platforms such as SCIEX OS, Analyst, Chromeleon, MassHunter, Openlab CDS, Debra, and Laura.

  • Certification or formal training in GLP, GxP, software validation, or a related compliance area.
