About the Role

We are seeking a Laboratory Operations Manager to oversee day-to-day lab operations on the Day Shift with 24/7 accountability. This leadership role works closely with the Lab Director and plays a key part in ensuring the highest standards of quality, safety, and performance across the laboratory.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Lab Director with overall operations and strategic initiatives

  • Coordinate quality and performance improvement programs

  • Develop and manage budgeting and staffing plans

  • Establish and enforce laboratory and safety policies

  • Conduct staff evaluations and professional development planning

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Science or related field (Master’s preferred)

  • ASCP certification required

  • Minimum 3 years of laboratory leadership experience

  • Experience in a multi-hospital system preferred

  • Lean/Six Sigma training a plus
