The Sales Manager - oil&gas is a professional who can grow Mr. Marine's business by offering our range of products and services to the assigned customer base. A key objective for this role is to support the company in its expansion in the oil&gas business. With their experience in the maritime industry, the Sales Manager - oil&gas is able to foresee and seize the opportunities for sales and cross-sales within the assigned portfolio of accounts and new customers. The Sales Manager - oil&gas is responsible for driving sales growth and developing new business opportunities within the company's equipment verticals. Reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer, this role focuses on achieving sales targets, building and nurturing customer relationships, and contributing to the overall sales strategy.

Job Description
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales and business development plan aligned with company goals and objectives.
  • Identify and target potential customers, generating new business leads and expanding the customer base.
  • Drive the increase in requests for quotations (RFQs) by actively promoting company products and services.
  • Develop a sustained and growing customer base portfolio.
  • Preparation of sales calls pipeline management with a disciplined approach.
  • Strive for consultative sales to distinguish market presence by effectively probing/identifying needs and suggesting solutions from our portfolio of products (elevator services, ballast and instruments&controls).
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify new business opportunities and stay updated on industry trends.
  • Timely plan and perform regular meetings with customers in the assigned portfolio. Report to team and management the results of the meetings and the future plan of actions.
  • Be available to travel to visit customers, including specifically to West Africa.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with various internal departments, including marketing, operations, technical and finance, to ensure a cohesive approach to sales and customer service.
  • Effectively handover of all "closed-won" business opportunities to our operation team and finance teams.
  • Monitor sales activities, track performance metrics, and prepare accurate sales reports for management review.
  • Respond to all sales leads/key correspondence within identified timelines.

  • Track and communicate effectively and assist in resolving issues and commercial changes.

Candidate Profile Experience and Education
  • High level education.
  • Comes from a service-oriented environment (Maritime, Engineering, Procurement or Construction).
  • Minimum 5-7 years Sales and/or Account Management experience in the Oil & Gas industry, specifically for marine services.
  • Proven track record of success in sales, business development, or key account management roles within the marine equipment industry.
  • Experience in a technical environment will be considered a plus.

We are open to candidates in Europe, from our offices located in Rotterdam, NL and in Thessaloniki, Greece or working remotely.
