Day to day as a Courier

As a Laboratory Courier at LABTECH DIAGNOSTICS, you will be responsible for the critical task of transporting specimens from physician offices, collection centers, and nursing homes to our facility, ensuring the highest standards of safety and compliance as an OSHA Category I employee. Your role demands strict adherence to safety guidelines and continuous education in Bloodborne Pathogens, HIPAA, and Leaks and Spills to maintain best practices. You will follow established laboratory policies for specimen handling, utilize appropriate PPE, and deliver excellent customer service while adhering to a specific route schedule. Key duties include ensuring specimens are accurately labeled and maintained at the correct temperature, communicating promptly regarding any customer concerns, and managing both incoming shipments and outgoing orders.

Additionally, you'll assist in organizing the warehouse, maintaining cleanliness, printing shipping labels, and performing daily vehicle checklists to ensure operational efficiency. Your meticulous attention to detail will be essential in supporting our commitment to health care excellence.
