Under the direction of healthcare professionals, the Youth Apprentice - Laboratory will assist laboratory care team members as directed. Duties may include customer service, phlebotomy, accessioning, and pre-analytic specimen preparation.

Education: Currently enrolled in High School as a Junior or Senior OR HS Diploma required. Must be accepted into the Trident Technical College Youth Apprenticeship Program. Continued participation in the Trident Technical College Youth Apprenticeship Program is required to meet minimum qualifications for this position.
Completion of the Medical Laboratory Assistant Certificate program through Trident Technical College Apprenticeship Program to function as a Clinical Laboratory Assistant.
Experience: Strong computer skills particularly with Microsoft products (Excel, Word, etc.).
