Job Description
Manage the day-to-day activities of the sample coordination area and could have at least one direct report.
Responsibilities
  • Maintain and update sample documentation in LIMS system and trains other sample coordination staff and analytical staff on use of system.
  • Receive and inspect incoming samples and handle appropriately per Pearl procedures and governing documents
  • Independently responsible for pulling samples, actuators, dose indicators, or any other sample configuration or related item and distribute to laboratory staff for testing. Trains other sample coordination staff on execution of these activities.
  • Independently able to perform stability sets and pulls per Pearl governing documents
  • Independently able to perform and document stability chamber inventory
  • Maintains a stability pull calendar for onsite and offsite storage and proactively notifies project staff of upcoming events.
  • Independently able to pull and organize samples for shipment to other Pearl sites or external groups
  • Periodically prepare inventory list and distribute to laboratory management to facilitate disposal of samples that are no longer needed
  • May serve as back up to daily chamber monitoring and chart recorder management and documentation

Requirements
  • Three years of GMP pharma experience in a laboratory or sample management role with at least a year of sample management experience.
  • Ability to understand and adhere to chemical hygiene and safety requirements while working in a laboratory environment.
  • Must possess strong time management and organizational skills and an ability to adapt to a variety of tasks and execute them consistently to a high level of quality.
  • Must possess strong communication verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must be in possession of a valid driver's license and a vehicle suitable for local travel.
