Job description

About Integrated Health 21

Integrated Health 21 (IH21) is a leading provider of worksite wellness screenings and vaccination clinics across the continental United States. Headquartered in Pittsburgh, PA, with offices in New York, Wisconsin, and Ohio, IH21 partners with employers and insurance companies to deliver customized health and wellness events. Our mission is simple: to help employees better understand their health and support healthier workplaces.

Position Summary

The Staffing Manager is responsible for the candidate selection, deployment, and performance oversight of clinical and screening staff across multiple regions supporting the company's biometric screening events. This role owns staffing accuracy and coverage in Shiftboard, ensures all deployed personnel meet clinical standards, and partners with regional coordinators, client services, and compliance teams to deliver consistent, audit-ready staffing outcomes at scale.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end staffing execution across all assigned regions, ensuring full coverage for scheduled biometric screening events and rapid resolution of last-minute gaps or cancellations.
  • Serve as the lead administrator of Shiftboard as the system of record for scheduling, credential tracking, availability, and shift confirmations; maintain data integrity and reporting accuracy across all regional coordinators.
  • Conduct second interview with field examiners to ensure technical capability and cultural fit.
  • Supervise and develop a team of staffing coordinators across each region, setting performance expectations and providing coaching on scheduling accuracy, client communication, and issue escalation.
  • Partner with client services and event operations to forecast staffing needs, confirm site-specific requirements (e.g., venipuncture certification, state licensure), and adjust deployment plans for high-volume periods.
  • Monitor and analyze labor spend, fill rates, no-show/cancellation trends, and utilization by region, and report findings to senior operations leadership.
  • Serve as the escalation point for staff performance concerns, client escalations, and no-shows, ensuring timely resolution and documentation.
  • Continuously improve scheduling workflows, credentialing processes, and Shiftboard configuration to improve efficiency as the company scales into new regions.

Required Qualifications

Experience & Education

  • 3+ years in workforce/staffing management, field operations, or healthcare staffing, including at least 2 years overseeing multiple sites or regions.
  • Bachelor's degree in resource management/Logistics, Business Management, or a related field (equivalent experience considered in lieu of degree).
  • Demonstrated experience with a centralized scheduling/workforce management platform; direct Shiftboard experience strongly preferred.
  • Prior experience staffing clinical or allied health personnel across multiple states, including familiarity with state-specific licensure requirements.

Knowledge & Compliance

  • Working knowledge of OSHA regulations (bloodborne pathogens standard) and CLIA waived testing requirements as they apply to phlebotomy and point-of-care screening staff.
  • Solid understanding of HIPAA requirements as it relates to handling of employee and participant health data.

Skills

  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage staffing across time zones and competing regional priorities under tight event deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, suited to a role that includes coaching, escalation management, and cross-functional coordination with clients and vendors.
  • Proficiency with reporting and analytics tools to interpret fill rates, labor costs, and utilization trends and translate them into staffing decisions.
  • Sound judgment under pressure, with the ability to problem-solve and adapt staffing plans quickly in response to cancellations, client changes, or compliance issues.
