WHAT WE DO
As a premier provider of environmental services in the Western United States, Worldwide Recovery Services a Crystal Clean Company provides a wide range of industrial and remediation services. We provide a broad array of environmental services to meet any need that our clients may have. From hazardous waste transportation to wastewater treatment, or from industrial cleaning to full facility closure and remediation, Worldwide Recovery Services can do it all with our own internal resources and do so while accomplishing every metric of success.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Ensure that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, processes, and acting in a safe manner.
  • Perform cleanup activities including but not limited to chemical and water spills, non-hazardous and hazardous waste and toxic materials and equipment decontamination.
  • Sweep, dig, shovel, lift, pressure wash, and handle drums to assist in cleaning up.
  • Operate cleanup equipment used in hazardous waste activities.
  • Follow policies and procedures for control and storage of hazardous substances.
  • Attend safety training as required.
  • Comply with the Random Drug Testing Program.
  • Perform various housekeeping and custodial duties and other duties as required.
  • Assist with maintenance of facility like unloading trucks and other ancillary duties.
  • Work long hours and overtime during day, night, or weekend shifts.
  • Other reasonable directives, responsibilities, and activities may change or be assigned at any time with or without notice.

EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND REQUIREMENTS
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • 1 - 3 years of environmental services industry experience preferred.
  • 1 - 3 years of hazardous waste control experience preferred.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Driving record that meets company standards and current DMV printout, required.
  • 40-hour HAZWOPER certification required.
  • Confined Space Entry certification required.
  • Basic knowledge of federal, state, and local hazardous waste and safety regulations.

  • Flexible to fast paced changes.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS
  • Pushing / pulling frequent daily basis
  • Twisting / turning frequent daily basis.
  • Lift items over head: frequent daily basis
  • Standing: 6-8 hours daily
  • Crouching / stooping: prolonged periods
  • Lifting / carrying frequent daily up to 50 lbs.
  • Work in confined spaces or at heights.
  • Required to wear a variety of personal protection equipment as required including but not limited to Tyvek suits.
  • Required to wear respirators as needed.
  • Performs labor intensive activities in all weather conditions during any hours during the day or night.
